On the login screen, tap "Continue as Guest" to access all features immediately — no sign-up required.

How does the AI roadmap work?

Describe your dream goal and Pocket Commit's AI will generate a personalized step-by-step monthly roadmap for you. Just commit to the daily actions and watch your progress grow.

Will I lose my streak if I miss a day?

Yes — streaks reset if you miss a day, just like Duolingo. This keeps the accountability real. The goal is to show up every day.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email us at bbjulius900@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account" and we will permanently delete all your data within 7 days.

The app is not working as expected

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, email us with a description of what happened and which screen you were on.

Pocket Commit ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

  • Account data: If you sign up, we collect your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In.
  • App data: Your commitments, goals, streaks, and task completions are stored to power the app's features.
  • Anonymous usage: If you use the app as a guest, no personal information is collected.
  • Device data: Basic device information may be collected automatically by Firebase for crash reporting and analytics.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and sync your commitments and goals across sessions
  • To generate AI-powered goal roadmaps via Groq AI (your goal description is sent to Groq's API)
  • To send optional local notifications for daily reminders
  • To improve the app based on crash and performance data

Third-Party Services

Pocket Commit uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and analytics
  • Google Sign-In: Optional account creation
  • Groq AI: AI-powered goal roadmap generation

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase Firestore and locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To request deletion of all your data, email us at bbjulius900@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account". We will process your request within 7 days.

Children's Privacy

Pocket Commit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
